| Backstory Tidbits |
When the evil litch, the BONE KING™, and his Infernal Army make a surprise assault on the Village of Ember the Master Wizard, Alvis Jarl, banishes the undead battle-mage and his horde into a labyrinth of magical dungeons hidden deep within a mysterious sub-dimension known as the Netherealm. However, the BONE KING™ reveals this to be merely part of his plan to gain access to the Netherealm and perform a ritual that will give him complete control over the seven Cosmic Forces. To contain this threat Alvis takes you on as his apprentice, and charges you with clearing out the dungeons and stop this evil force once and for all.
